Filmmaker, Look at Me! Images of Women and Ageing
Claire has been involved in filmmaking for the past 30 years. Following a degree in Film and Photographic Arts at the Polytechnic of Central London, she became a video editor then a freelance producer/director before joining the University of Sheffield in 1996 where she went on to produce numerous award winning videos. Her role has increasingly engaged with learning and teaching and the development of online learning resources as well as teaching filmmaking to students and providing more strategic level learning and teaching support. One of her key interests is the impact of creative activity on the learning experience, another is how information is disseminated using non-textual methods. About to embark on her 5th decade, this project has personal as well as professional significance!
